WCC TEAM NOTES Gonzaga Bulldogs (12-7-1 / 3-4-0 WCC) - The victory marked the Bulldogs 12th victory of the season, tying the school record for victories in a season set in 2005 when the Zags posted a 12-4-4 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. - Sophomore Lori Conrad provided the heroics for the Zags, scoring the game-winning goal in the 110th minute of the match. The goal was just Conrad's second career score. - Six Bulldogs earned All-WCC honors. Junior Kelcey Goddard was selected to the All-WCC second team, while seniors Sarah Hall, Nanda McCormick, Christine Soma, and Lauren Zuckerman were selected All-WCC honorable mention. Freshman goalkeeper Lauren Ames was named to the All-WCC freshman team. Loyola Marymount (12-6-1 / 4-3-0 WCC) - The Lions finished the regular season having won 12 of their last 15 matches. - Senior goalkeeper Joslyn Slovek made a season-high nine saves for the Lions, who withstood a school-record-tying 32 opponent shots from the Pilots. - The clean sheet snapped LMU's single-season record of consecutive games with a goal at 14, which also tied the all-time record across two years. - A school-record seven Lions were named to the All-WCC teams. Seniors Jamie Bell and Slovek were selected All-WCC first team, while sophomore Tiffany Harrison garnered second team accolades. Stefanie Baduria, Kim Feeney, Katie Osborne, and Lily Sorentino earned honorable mention status. Sorentino was also selected to the All-WCC freshman team. Pepperdine Waves (5-8-6 / 2-4-1 WCC) - The match marked the Waves' seventh overtime contest of the season and their seventh 1-goal loss of the campaign. - The Waves' six ties this season sets a new school record, surpassing the previous mark of four that were recorded in 1998. - Seven Pepperdine players earned All-WCC honors. Sophomore midfielder Sophia Medina was named to the All-WCC second team, while junior Kelsey Baker, freshman Cammie Burke, freshman Kylie McDonald, sophomore Courtney Price, freshman Nicole Romanowski, and junior Amanda Rupp were named All-WCC honorable mention. Additionally, Burke and McDonald earned All-Freshman team honors. Portland Pilots (18-3-0 / 7-0-0 WCC) - Portland has allowed just one goal in its last 11 matches, outscoring its opponents an astounding 33-1 during the winning streak. - Sophomore Michelle Enyeart scored two goals and freshman Sophie Schmidt added two assists to lead the Pilots past the Lady Vols. Enyeart now leads the team in goals (11), assists (15), and points (37). - The Pilots travel to UCLA (11/24) this Friday in a rematch of the 2006 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals in which the Bruins earned a 2-1 come-from-behind win to oust the Pilots. Saint Mary's Gaels (6-11-2 / 0-7-0 WCC) - Two Gaels earned All-WCC honors this season as junior midfielder Stefani Rocco was selected to the all-conference first team, while sophomore midfielder Jessica Menzhuber was named All-WCC honorable mention. - Sophomore forward Allie Weiner turned in a solid second season, leading the Gaels in goals (6), assists (6), and shots (34). Weiner ranked eighth in the WCC in goals, tied for fourth in the conference in assists, and finished the season sixth in points. - Sophomore goalkeeper Tara Larson finished the season with a WCC-best 102 saves. - Freshman Alex Ciliento tallied three game-winning goals for the Gaels this season. San Diego Toreros (15-3-3 / 5-1-1 WCC) - The Toreros close out one of the best seasons in school history with a 15-3-3 overall record and with a 5-1-1 mark in WCC play. - Junior Jen Mello scored the Toreros lone goal with senior Leigh Ann Robinson assisting on the score. The assist was Robinson's eighth on the season, ranking her second in the conference. - The Toreros landed six players on the All-WCC teams, including two players on the first team in senior Leigh Ann Robinson and Epsten. Junior goalkeeper Brittany Cameron and senior Vanessa Vella were named second team All-WCC. Sophomore Natalie Vinti was named honorable mention, while Ashleigh Shoughro was named to the All-WCC freshman team. San Francisco Dons (2-13-3 / 2-5-0 WCC) - Sophomore midfielder Jenny Jarvie led the Dons this season with three goals and six overall points. For her efforts this season Jarvie was selected as an All-WCC honorable mention member. - Sophomore Samantha Brand finished the season with a team-high three assists. - Junior goalkeeper Katie Hodgson collected a team-best 74 saves to rank second in the conference with 4.35 saves per game. - Junior midfielder Katherine Kimure led the Dons with 33 shots, edging senior Fiona O'Sullivan who attempted 31 shots this season. Santa Clara Broncos (12-6-3 / 4-3-0 WCC) - Despite an injury plagued season, the Broncos made their 19th consecutive NCAA Tournament. - Junior goalkeeper Meagan McCray collected a match-high six saves in the Broncos' loss to Cal. - Eight Santa Clara players landed on the All-WCC teams. Senior Brittany Klein and sophomore Kiki Bosio were named to the All-WCC first team, while seniors Tina Estrada and Chioma Igwe and sophomore Katherine Reynolds garnered second team honors. Senior Meagan Snell was named honorable mention, while Maxine Goynes and Kendra Perry were selected to the WCC's all-fresman team.
