Pamela Kalinoski, the top USF womens soccer assistant coach for the past two seasons will assume duties as the interim head womens soccer coaching duties at the University of San Francisco, senior associate athletic director Sandee Hill announced today. Kalinoski, a 1991 graduate of North Carolina, helped guide the Lady Dons to a four-victory turnaround this season, the second best in program history during the 2000 campaign. Kalinoski succeeds Jean Paul Verhees, who resigned last week after 10 seasons at the helm.
Kalinoski enjoyed a tremendous playing career with the Tarheels and competed on a team that won four consecutive NCAA womens soccer titles. During her four years at UNC, Kalinoski left as the schools all-time assists leader (51) and served as team captain during her senior season and earned Offensive MVP honors in the 1991 NCAA Championships.
Kalinoski began her collegiate coaching career at the University of Memphis where she spent four years before coming to the Hilltop for the 1999 season.
