June 11-Gonzaga University senior Nicole Lustig was a first-team selection and sophomore Maria Bokulich earned second-team All-West Region honors as the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association named its fourth annual All-Region squads.
Lustig and Bokulich were instrumental in the Bulldogs earning a sixth straight West Coast Conference title, capturing the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association regatta and finishing second at the Avaya Collegiate Championships. Gonzaga has won all six WCC titles since the inception of the championship.
Lustig, from Moses Lake, Wash., earned her second straight All-West Region berth, while Bokulich, from Santa Cruz, Calif., was named to the team for the first time. As a first-team selection Lustig is eligible for All-America honors as selected by the CRCA regional chairpersons.
