Seven WCC representatives and one alternate were chosen for the NCAA men's and women's individual championships, it was announced on Thursday. Two singles players and one doubles team will compete in the men's tournament, while one singles player and three doubles teams grace the women's tournament. Each singles tournament has 64 players, while each doubles tournament features 32 teams.

Both Al Garland and Stefan Suter of Pepperdine received invitations to compete in the men's singles championships. Garland is currently ranked #21 in the country, while Suter is #39. Pepperdine's top doubles team of Suter and Sebastien Graeff will compete for the men's doubles title. The duo is currently ranked #6 in the nation. Both men's championships will be held May 23-28 at Stone Mountain, GA.

Ipek Senoglu of Pepperdine is the lone WCC singles player currently in the women's field. Senoglu is currently ranked #29 nationally. Teammate Paola Palencia was chosen as one of five alternates for the singles event. Senoglu and Palencia will also compete together in the women's doubles championship. The duo is currently ranked #3 in the country, and reached the semifinals of last year's tournament. Also in the doubles field is the #34-ranked team of Angelina Zdorovytska and Andrea Lord from Loyola Marymount. They are the first LMU players to ever make the NCAA tennis tournament. Joining them in the doubles mix is the top tandem from San Diego, Heather Polumbus and Krista Manning. They are currently #23 nationally. Both women's championships will be held May 21-26 in Athens, GA.
