Portland finished second to Wisconsin Saturday in the Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by Minnesota. The Pilots, ranked 13th in the latest national poll, defeated 11 top-25 teams, including #5 Providence, #10 Georgetown, and #12 Arizona.
Wisconsin, ranked #6, won the meet with 129 points, while Portland had 167.
Joe Driscoll led three Pilots in the top 20, placing 9th at 24:27.7 over the 8k course. Eric Kiauka was 15th and Matt Harriman was 18th. Jeff Driscoll was 60th, Kris Rolin was 65th, Nick Schuetze was 97th, and Ryan Craig was 110th.
