The USD women placed sixth out of thirteen teams at the University of Hawaii Invitational. The Toreros tallied 192 points with Kim Croswell placing highest on the team with her 16th place showing. She turned in a time of 19:35 over the 5K race; she was followed by teammates Tara McGowan (33rd; 20:10), Jen Pici (45th; 20:57), Fab Mueri (46th; 21:01), Jessica Barbera (52nd; 21:420 and Ginger White (58th; 21:53).

The winning individual time was turned in by Cheryl Smith of Hawaii (17:52),while San Diego State won the team title with 47 point.
