SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Four matches are highlighted this week as part of the WCC's All-Access Games of the Week. Portland women's volleyball travels to San Diego to take on the Toreros on Thursday, while Pepperdine women's soccer takes on Santa Clara on Friday. Action continues on Saturday as Loyola Marymount women's volleyball travels to Santa Clara for an afternoon showdown. Preview: No. 16 San Diego moved back into a tie for first place in the conference standings after a 3-0 win over Pepperdine and a 3-1 win over Loyola Marymount last weekend. The Toreros are 14-5 overall and own a conference record of 4-1. Portland enters the week with an overall record of 7-12 and are winless in the WCC with an 0-5 record after dropping a pair of matches to Portland State and Gonzaga this past week. USD owns a 32-7 all-time record over the Pilots.

Preview: Pepperdine travels to Buck Shaw Stadium on Friday evening to take on the Santa Clara Broncos. Both teams will be in search of their first conference wins as the Waves and Broncos suffered identical 1-0 setbacks in their conference-openers, falling to Loyola Marymount and San Diego. The Broncos, who are coming off of a 0-0 tie against UC Santa Barbara on Wednesday, will be looking to get back on track after going through a brutal stretch of their schedule where they faced highly ranked opponents in Cal, Stanford, UCLA, and San Diego in their last six matches. A win at Santa Clara could be what the youthful Waves need to turn their season around.

Preview: Santa Clara is 12-9 overall and split a pair of contests last week. The Broncos dropped a hard-fought 3-0 loss to Sacramento State, but rebounded to defeat long-time rival Saint Mary's in three games. LMU is coming off a 1-1 week in which it split two home matches against San Francisco and San Diego. The Lions defeated San Francisco 3-1, before falling 3-1 to then-No. 17 San Diego. This conference match is the "Dig For the Cure" event hosted by the Broncos.

Preview: Gonzaga will visit Santa Clara on Sunday in a battle between the WCC's two nationally ranked teams. The No. 28 Zags are coming off of an overtime defeat against San Diego on Sunday, which snapped a seven-match unbeaten run, while the No. 3 Broncos bring a nine-match unbeaten streak into the weekend. The Bulldogs, who have compiled a solid 4-1-1 mark on the road, will attempt to hand Santa Clara its first defeat at Buck Shaw Stadium so far this year. Two MAC Hermann Trophy candidates will take center stage, as forward George Josten (3g, 5a) leads the Zags, and midielder Peter Lowry (6g) paces the Bronco attack.
